3. New York State Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser Course - Education (200 Hours) Plus 1. Bachelor's Degree in any field of Study. 2. Associate's Degree in a field of study related to Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Real Estate. R-1 and R-2 are accepted as equivalent for R-5 and R-6. 1500 hours of experience over a period of not less than 24 months is required.
4. New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser Course - Education (300 Hours) Plus Bachelor's Degree or higher in any field in this category: R-1 and R-2 are accepted as equivalent for R-5 and R-6. AQ1 is Accepted as equivalent for GE-1. 3000 hours of experience over a period of not less than 24 months is required.
